Publish Your 500 Word Draft on World Water Day 2019 in Wattpad!

This post is especially created for those aspiring and enthusiastic writers who immediately accepted my cordial invitation to join the World Water Day WRIPE 2019 and - at this moment - waiting expectantly for my ‘go ahead’ to publish their 500 word drafts in Wattpad and share it among their friends and loved ones!

Last year, the World Water Day WRIPE 2018 was held through Sweek.com – the mobile writing platform that enable to read, write and share their stories at no cost. Sadly, Sweek.com failed to realize the full potential of my WRIPES. So this time the opportunity goes to Wattpad which is – quoting its home page - the world's most-loved social storytelling platform that connects a global community of 70 million readers and writers through the power of story!

One of the big reasons I opt for Wattpad is the awesome feedback my fellow writers would get for their stories. There are very few issues in writing stories, editing them, designing book covers, creating promotional videos or blog posts. We can manage them, no problem. But when it comes down to reader response and feedback … a thriving platform full of readers and writers is a proper god sent. I have every reason to believe Wattpad would never let us down!

So why wait? Let’s publish the drafts me hearties! Here are the steps and here we go!

Go to wattpad.com through your PC. Mobile is ... er … ok too but I would prefer wide screen and your finger tips on a wider key pad. You are taking your first step towards writing a 10,000 word story to be published in Amazon and make money. So let’s be serious!

So this is how you would see wattpad.com in your PC.

Go to ‘Login’. Or ‘Start Writing’.

Log in through your account in Facebook or Google. If you do not like either of them you can create your own account in Wattpad, no worries!

In the home screen, select ‘Create’.

Then click on ‘New Story’.

In fact, this is the most important part when you are going through the publishing process. Please enter the information you have in the word document very accurately.

Title should be exactly the one on the book cover I prepare for you.

Description and Tags are mentioned in your draft shared with me. The most important Tag you have to include is WWD2019. 


For the moment ‘Genre’ we will select as ‘Random’

Turn Copyright into ‘All Rights Reserved’ and click ‘Next’

In the ‘Untitled Part 1’ section mention your city and your country. Then copy paste your 500 word draft into the ‘type your text’ space.

Click ‘Publish’
